Hint : There are not really a big assortment of "station" wagons any more. Most of the old "wagon" buyers have switched to SUVs & Mini-Vans & Crossovers
I found 4 possible vehicles for ya :

(Ok, so the 4th is a mini-van)

I might add that the FreeStyle has a 'no-charge' option of a 3 passenger 2nd row bench (60/40 split) making it the most affordable & the most like a 'Station Wagon" It's actually based off of a volvo platform,(Ford owns Volvo) & it has excellent safety ratings.

Go take one out for a drive, I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised.
The CVT (transmission) really enhances the acceleration, making the 203HP V6 engine , feel & perform like a MUCH more powerfull engine (without giving up gas mileage)
Really!

Station wagons have really never offered 3rd row seating in the true sense, only a few that had a fold down seat in the back cargo area which ususally faced the rear of the car for up to 2 people.Example, a 1976 Olds Cutlass wagon. Nowadays, it is only the SUV that offers 3rd row seating and there are many models and cars that have this, too many to name. There is at least one by each manufacturer.

It was optional in the Taurus / Sable wagons before Ford discontinued them, and some of the European wagons still offer it.

because of the fact the human beings who tension them are insecure. In japan they have a large marketplace for small vehicles because of the fact they have 0.5 the U. S. inhabitants residing in a close-by the size of california. they are larger, much less useful, supply a extra commanding view of the line and tell the acquaintances how plenty money you have and you will placed your overpriced starbucks coffee in one in each and every of its many cupholders. The manufacturers make plenty extra earnings so as that they promote heavily and lo and behold stupid human beings improve a deep insatiable want for them. they are not safer, larger center of gravity ability extra suitable rollover danger and much less maneuverability.
