I am new to warcraft and was wondering if anyone here plays it also and if they have any tips. For all the people that have no lifes, feel free to humiliate me for being a warcraft geek.

Tips for WOW
1. /ignor (persons name) - use it to drowned out all the insanity on the chat channel.
2. Money is everything - skinning and leather working gives a constant flow of cash. Very helpful in the beginning.
3. All classes have plus and minuses... try a couple at the same time until you find the 1 you like.
4. Be friendly....i've found some really nice people out there that will help a nube (we were all nubes once)
5. Have fun exploring...don't get frustrated

As long as you are friendly, people will be willing to help you understand. There are plenty of websites to help you out, www.thottbot.com is the best, in my opinion. Just like the answers, you can always try out different races and different classes, and see what you like best. If you want to heal, be a Preist, if you want to fight right up against the enemy be a warrior, etc. I am a Hunter and I really enjoy it, you can tame wild animals and use them to fight. Good luck, I hope you enjoy it, but dont get addicted! They dont call it World of Warcrack for nothing, lol

if you only want to work on one, try all of the classes, and if you have time get each one up to lvl 3-5 just to see what they play like. if u have any friends u know that play, ask them what server they're on so u can play with them and they might be able to help u.
more importantly just talk to people in-game if u have questions.

Wait, wait, wait. You're saying that the poeple who DON'T play WoW don't have lives? You have serious judgmental problems. Go outside and DO something. Read, socialize, exercise, something that won't addict you like crack.
