A lot of people are obssessed with celebrity lives. We constantly listen to what they say and watch what they do. We want to know what they think about everything. Some of us are the same way with politicians, glueing ourselves to news channels to catch every word. Do you think that this is unhealthy for our souls? If all we do is watch, critique, offer opinion, but never really live our own lives or observe our own behavior, will we ever find answers to our deep questions about life? Aren't we all individuals, no one worth more than the other, no matter what the social status? Why do we pay so much attention to somebody else's life before we ever consider who we are or where we're at?

With concern to celebrities we watch for them to fall on their face and say oh good their life isnt so wonderful or we watch due to wishing we could lead some part in their extravagant lifestyles for they seem to get away with quite a lot.
With politicians we watch and hang on their words because we dream of wanting to say our piece and have the power they seem to have

Basically humans are power hungry and believe if they have a say in someone's life they have control
