I'd recommend two people a beta reader and an agent. A beta reader (pick someone who is unable to give you a bias review) the job of the beta is to read through to find any errors or things that make no sense at all, they also give honest criticism that cannot be bias, that's why it's important to not use friends and family, they will say everything you do is amazing when in reality (hard truth coming) it is more than likely not publishing standards. Then you need an agent, someone in the real profession not any old fool with a suit and smart phone. From here they will do most the leg work for you (at a cost) they will find the right publishers for your novel. Or you'd go into self publishing, an area I don't know well myself so won't say much on, but it is an option. Remember you'll get more knock backs than rewards. Just because one turns you down does not mean they all will.
