Make it so that they only thing on radios, TVs, CD players etc are those irritating records like superman or the birdy song.
Constantly ring all the phones in the world and play that noise like when you have a fax coming through.
Crash all computers and games consoles
So the only thing left for them to do is talk to each other.

I would just be your average typical Alien who would make crop circles and appear in my snazzy little spaceship in isolated country towns, to make people think they've witnessed a 'UFO sighting' so they become famous on TV for 15 minutes, which would cause much confusion and debate, then move on to the next town....LOL
