Really all they have done is put him out of his misery by killing him off! what do you think??

although I agree with the death penalty, in Saddam's case I think he would have been punished more cruelly sitting in prison for his remaining days.

Yeah, the trial alone was enough to kill him 10 times.
After the trial, the hanging was a welecome sight.

If you consider that death is lucky, than yeah he did. Trouble is how do you punish equallly a person that has killed so many?
