I would recommend that you start by checking at a Goodwill and Salvation Army store because these two have really good second hand clothes for next to nothing. And most are really good quality and pretty up-to-date because there are people donating to them every day.

Check out "garage sales" at your local churches. You can find everything there from track pants to suits and they have sales all year round.

consignment stores will have better quality than thrift stores. Estate sales also have things bought cheaply of vintage.
