I just had to do a speech and choose the Swifter Wet Jet. I took them by surprise of my topic and included a few comic lines to make them laugh, created a nice mess to clean, and even started from scratch with how to open the box and assemble. The class and teacher loved my creativity and I was given an A.

There is no such thing as 'free speech' in countries where there are 'hate speech' laws. That means there are some things that you cannot say, and in a court of law, truth is no defense. Most of the Western countries of the world now apply hate speech laws, and increasingly anti-bullying laws which are going to slide us even further down the slippery slope of giving away our freedoms. Free speech of course used to have responsibilities attached to it such as, you couldn't yell 'fire' in a crowded theatre, but it was never meant to counter 'hate' or hurtful statements, or not hurt anybodies feelings.

Talk about something that is very controversial. The key to a great presentation is getting the class to participate. Once that happens, all the attention isn't on you. Works for me :)

Well, What do you like? Any burning issues that interest you? What are you most political about? It's that simple. Nothing hard.
