If you are evicted on a month to month lease, I believe you have 30 days to get out. However, you may want to check with your local police or sheriff's department to confirm. (Or you may want to look at your lease documenation, it should definately have it in there, if you signed the lease.) For some places it may be 15 days and other places it may be 30 days. So you need to confirm for your area.

If you are paying month-to month to your roomates, you pretty much have until your current rent expires. Your roomates could also refund your rent or a portion of it and ask you to leave at any time. Rental requlations are pretty much meant to govern the relationship between landlords and tenants. Roomates are pretty much on their own.
