Anyone who can tell me who this song was by. I heard a Lea Salonga version and a NINA cover version. I'm looking for the original song...it has a jazzy feel and was sung by a man I believe.

Hi. Are you referring to the song Lea sang on her concert Lea Salonga Live"? It goes like "Sunlight, oh sunlight. Bring me the love I need to guide me. Shining deep inside of me."?
Because if it is, then
"Sunlight" was originally sung by a Jazz singer named Kevyn Lettau.
She did a concert here in Manila a few years back. I think it was 2005. She sang it in her concert too.
Check out the music stores because they carry the album of Kevyn Lettau.

I used to sing a song, back in the 70's , called "Sunlight", by Three Dog Night! I done forgot most of it but it started;;;;
"have you seen the sunlight shining, through, the falling rain,"
"whisper warmth upon you, in, a summers end,"
Oh, this is such a pretty song, all the girls used to fall in love with me!!
