Are the Big Oil Companies suppressing the truth?
Ask yourself, who is really running the war?
Who is making a profit on the war?
Who has suppressed alternative energy, or made the cost out of reach?
Folks This is 2007, and with the advancing science technologies, something other than oil has to be out there. Plus why is the cost of a solar panel,Fluorescent lamps, and wind generators so expensive.
Only a few Hybrid cars on the roads, who can afford one, plus from reading reviews they do not help much, its more of a fashion statement. The hybrid in some road test used as much or more fuel.

You sir have just hit the nail on the head!
Not only do the suppress the truth, they profit from the rape that they inflict on our planet.
I'm not a hippie, but I do want my kids (if i have them) to see the world as a place like what i grew up in. Not a planet where the polar ice caps have melted due to global warming, with the result a 10,000 year ice age before the planet can work again.

Here we are, the most powerful nation on the planet, we launch satellites to study distant planets and gallaxies, and we can't successfully engineer alternative energy sources? Bull.
You can be certain of one thing: too many people are WAY TOO deeply invested in oil production to just walk away from it. They'll keep pumping it down to the last drop, regardless of any other considerations ( such as the environment or territorial disputes).
Old habits die hard, but oil companies and their CEOs will be happy to supply you with their fossil fuel heroin as long as possible. And we'll pay the $$$ like the sad junkies we've become........

I live in California and I see way more than a few hybrid cars around. Big oil companies give 75% of their money to Republicans, so they will vote in the favor of them. They have a lot of power and I do not think it will change.

for years now BIG OIL has quietly suppresed better fuel systems for cars, more effecient power generating devices and what not.
Ithink the 70"s were proof of greed and decete by big oil, and is just getting worse each year.those executives lie and deceivejust as well as the government does

I commonly do not eat at McDonald's or drink Coke.. yet once you've some information that they are actual assisting Israel's protection of civilization, i'd might want to reconsider that.

Corporate greed makes them supress new inventions that could be used in place of oil. Corporate greed dictates every course of action to them. No Christians there.
