IF HE STILL LOVES YOU,HE WILL MOST DEFINITLY COME BACK TO YOU. SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOU SCREWED UP!!

To be perfectly honest, 99.99% of the time, once you have let him go, he is gone. And those who end up getting back together usually don't last too much longer. All I can say is "live and learn". Next time you might want to slow down your relationship if you have fears.

First I suggest you read Love and Respect by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs and then write him a letter based on what you learnt from the book, then telling him what you respect about him and apologise for what happened and ask him to give you another chance.

just tell him that, i have been in that situation myself because of that but i never broke up with them, (i have been there twice) but i wrecked the relationship for a while until he learned how to trust me again. and then he fu*ked it all up.
