i wanted to kno if northlake mall was open .....thats if your from charlotte nc

No. If there is a Wal-Mart nearby, then that is not closed. Hollywood Video is open every day except Leap Day (Hello! Open 365 years a day!) And finally, there is a good chance of most stores closing, but check on their website. And there could be a pretty good chance of a fast-food restaurant staying open.
