The Sims 2 downloaded items......?

I want to ask how can I use the download items in Sims 2? What should I do after I save it into my computer?

If the items is compressed (rar files) unpack the files and copy them over to the mydocuments/eagames/sims2/downlodes folder and then they will become available if they are in packaged format just double click the package and will auto install items for you.

if the file has an extension .iff it shud go in the objects folder if it is .flr in the floor folder .wll in the walls folder (should be found at c:/program files/maxis/
or where ever you installed the game
