Geesh! My hamster was trying to get to China in one night on his wheel. Eeek, reeek, squeek...man, I had to oil the little wheel to keep if from breaking and squeeking. He grew out of if as he became an adult, but he was still the most wheel addicted hamster I had heard of, now yours is second.
Happy New Year

i doubt your hamster is addicted to his wheel as much as mine. I got my hamster a critter trail cage with what is supposed to be a silent wheel, and its closed around, not like a regular wheel and when i first got this it was just used as a wheel and he slept in his little house, but now he figured to bring bedding up there and food and it is definitely not silent anymore. he sleeps in there as well as goes to the bathroom which is gross but when i tried giving him a different wheel he just freaked out.. ughhh lol

Its a natural thing for hamsters to do. They love to run and run just enjoy him and let him run.Have you seen the hamster balls? I used to enjoy watching my Son's hamster run that thin all over the house. No little droppings either.

He may just be board. Try building on to his habitat if you can,(with tubs and tunnels) and hide his food making him hunt for it. Keep him mentally stimulated and he'll be happy. I had a snap together ball that mine rolled around in on the floor, they went everywhere. And loved teasing the dog with it, lol. Good Luck
