1)
15+78v-72v^2
= 3(5+26v-24v^2)

5*(-24) = -120

30*(-4) = - 120
30 - 4 = 26

so 5+26v-24v^2
= 5+30v-4v-24v^2
= 5(1+6v)-4v(1+6v)
=(5-4v)(1+6v)

so factor = 3(5-4v)(1+6v)

2)
take de common

de(36d^2+e^2-12de)

=de((6d)^2+e^2-2*(6d)*e)
= de(6d-e)^2

15 + 78v - 72v²

3(5 + 26v - 24v²)

3(5 + 30v - 4v - 24v²)

3[5(1 + 6v) - 4v(1 + 6v)]

3 (5 - 4v)(1 + 6v)

- - - - - - s-
