I have an ipod and i have usb 1 to be honest theres not much difference in speed, most modern pc's have usb 2.0 built in now. I use a usb 2.0 hub and its not that much faster.

It will work fine. Just will take a bit longer to transfer your songs.
I use usb 1 and its no bother. Are people really that short of time that they need their tunes transfering so fast?!

It might work slowly but more seriously it might not work at all.
Sounds like you need a new PC before you buy an MP3 player.

it will work but your mp3 player will take much, much longer to charge, if it does at all, and you risk ruining your mp3player. an ipod, correct?
