To show my appreciation, what kind of gift do I need to buy? Perfume? I usually get flowers from the local gas station LMAO. Instead of these nonsense gifts, what can I get her to show her that I appreciate what she does. Here's the breakdown of our house duties:

Cooks :wife
Laundry: wife
Cleans: wife
Makes bed: wife 5 days a week me the other 2
Handles money: usually me
Foodshopping: wife

There's no yardwork cause we live in a townhouse which yes, let's me out of doing lawn, and more time for football : )

Hey, she likes doing all this stuff and Im not too good at it

Forget the gifts, mop the floors.

From experience I can tell you nothing says "I love you" more than my husband doing the laundry or scrubbing the tub.

And you can never go wrong with roses.

Think long and hard about what she really likes. Pay close attention to her and what would mean something to her. Its not always a gift that money can buy. Maybe its a surprise send her out shopping for dinner or something and clean the house up. Light some candles and you take control of the kitchen..Run her a bubble bath so she can relax while you cook. When she is dressed you can have a toast to your realtionship and the love you feel for her and have a nice quiet romantic dinner with just the 2 of you..and sorry but yes you would have to turn the foot ball off for a couple hours. Trust me this would mean the world to her to just be pampered for once and in turn oh ya you'll get pampered in ways you cant imagine.

Good luck! Dont forget the wine, flowers and candles. Also get some good bubble bath for her as well..

Follow the sophisticated women "golden rule" which is Do not get her anything she can plug in! : ) Stick with that and you should be OK. She does a lot of housework for you. Get her mind off of it and onto something romantic. Chocolate, flowers, jewelry, nice perfume/lotions or all of the above. Get her something beautiful and she'll feel beautiful; romantic and she feel romantic- you get it. You will make her very happy and she'll remember when you inevitably mess us and get you back in good graces sooner. p.s. As she does the majority of the housework, give her something to look forward to on special days. Good luck.

Maybe to show your appreciation you can take her out somewhere, to dinner and a movie or just dinner or just a movie, or maybe just a romantic evening at home. Just do something for her that lets you know you care and pay attention to her. You can give her a little gift as well as doing something nice for her like taking her out for a romantic evening.

little gift suggestions:
perfume - small and expensive
jewelery
chocolate - expensive, possibly heart shapped.
buy her something she is interested in

Well, once somebody told me that her husband tops up her cashcard for her, maybe you could try doing the same. Or you could book a trip for her to somewhere she would love to go to , takes it as a holiday for her, no cleaning, cooking , for the few days, let her be pampered for the few days holidays.

With the amount of work that your wife does around the house, you better buy her a really big diamond something, either earrings, necklace, bracelet.... whatever it is, it BETTER have a high carat count....

Why not treat her to a pamper session at a day spa? Facial, massage etc. I know it's not very 'small'. But that depends on your budget. However for all she does for you I reckon it's worth it.

how about offering to help her -- like do the work together, or just to keep her company while she works, if you're really useless and not just using that as an excuse...
