The start of a new day occurs first at the International Date Line (IDL), which runs north south through the Pacific Ocean. So the first places to see the "first ray of sun", the dawn, are those immediately west of the IDL.
Millennium Island (formerly Caroline Island), in the chain of the Line Islands of the Republic of Kiribati in the Central Pacific Ocean can claim to be the first place to celebrate each new dawn, but not without controversy. Kiribati, an archipelago of 33 Micronesian Islands scattered over 5 million sq kilometres, used to straddle the International Date Line which meant that the islands on one side of the IDL were a full day ahead of islands on the other side. In 1995 Kiribati decided all of its islands should be on the same day.
To do this the IDL had to be moved to the east, around the coast of the most eastern island, now called Millennium Island. South Pacific neighbours accused Kiribati of tinkering with time to cash in on Millennium fever.
Not to be outdone, in September 1999, The Kingdom of Tonga proclaimed the introduction of daylight savings from October to April. Effectively placing Tonga in the same time zone as Kiribati.
New Zealand's Chatham Islands see the dawn fifteen minutes after Kiribati and Tonga, followed by Fiji and mainland New Zealand 45 minutes after that.
The first significant city to see the sun is Gisborne, on New Zealand's North Island.

If money change into not an challenge, that sounds great. yet money is a actual challenge, as extreme-tech photo voltaic structures are extreme priced. So the perfect vote is along with your wallet. in case you purchase a photo voltaic device, you've quite voted sure. There are decrease tech techniques to apply photo voltaic skill - photo voltaic ovens, batch photo voltaic water heating, drying clothing on a clothesline. yet those frequently take extra attempt than the options. In those cases, you vote along with your attempt.
