As I read this question, you are having trouble with the HVAC fan quitting? If this is the case, you have an intermittent connection problem or a component that cuts out when warmed up. These trucks are kind of a prick to work on so start by getting the fan to quit for you and either start tapping on components or wiggling wires or connectors. Hopefully you will come across some part that starts the fan again, then you will know which component is the suspect one. I would suggest that if this was all working fine before going in for those repairs that something was damaged or not connected properly. The dealer has said to you it is all normal and that is to be expected as they didn't find anything wrong with it when you brought it in. What you have to do is somehow get it into them when it is not working and have them look at it immediately. Set this up with them beforehand so they are not surprised when you show up. There are so many components to this system and I honestly didn't ever see one that was more at fault than the others when I was working on them. That's why I can't give you an exact problem correction today.

To add to the others, if your fan still runs, but the airflow changes direction after 30 minutes; it's probably a vacuum issue. All of those internal plenums are controlled by vacuum lines and some of the engine vacuum components don't actuate (or turn off) until the engine is fully warmed up. This, in turn, might be opening a vacuum leak.
I would suspect a disconnected or misconnected vacuum line. Especially since you recently had quite a bit of manifold work done.

It may be the circuit breaker ( auto fuse link ) to the a.c. fan motor. A cheap fix. Ask the service writer at the nearest dealer where the breaker is located. If you want to explore; trace the wire from the fan motor as far as you can reach when the fan next quits. Feel for heated wire components.

The HVAC controls are operated by vacuum. The actuators are vacuum as well and have rubber diaphrams in them, it sounds like one of the actuators is leaking and not functioning. or a door has come off one of the actuators. The actuators flip the doors in the vents from top to floor and so on.

Any wound, whether stitched or not, heals better and faster when it is covered with a sterile bandage. Contrary to popular belief, leaving it exposed to the air does not help. Rather, it increases the likelihood of bacteria coming into contact with the wound, which would only prolong healing.

You probably run out of gas in 20 minutes.
