So I'm a 16 year old and I'm very different from my friends, all they think about is partying. I'm not like them actually not at all, I hate going to discos, with perverts touchin my *** others want to date, and bla bla... I'm not boring at all I like to go out with my friends havng a nice time out and enjoy my weekends but not partying like the rest of the others. I like goin somewhere where I can have a conversation but it seems like everyone hates these kind of outings nowadays!It seems like guys prefer dates than havin a serious relationships...I find date disgusting just after havin a date with something I just feel that he's just used me, and well I did the same with him!! Do you think that this is normal?

I think your just being yourself and there's nothing wrong with this as long as your happy with it. You might be more mature then your friends so just be happy with yourself. ;o) Nothing is ever wrong with being yourself. You wouldn't be normal if you weren't yourself.

It is perfectly normal. I was the same way in high school.. Never hit the party scene..iddnt care to get into durgs and alcohol and everything else that goes with partying. I love the out doors and to go hiking and simming and to the beach..that was fun to me. Sometimes you just have to keep your current friends but make some new ones to some that like doing the same things as you. Dating vs relationships..well you gotta date b4 a relationship can form. if there is chemistry b/t you then go on another date..if not leave it at just the one. You are young and dont need to be in any hurry to grow up. the right man is out there for you some times you have to weed him out of all the wrong ones.

You sound exactly like me (and I am pretty average!). When I was 16 I tried to do what all my friends were doing, and just wasn't into it. I'm more into the serious relationships and not much for being used on a regular basis. I managed to find a bunch of people who loved going to the movies on fridays instead of clubs, liked to come over and just hang out, etc. Trust me, you are fine!

No, you are not normal but I wished you were. You are well adjusted and very intelligent. Stick to your guns young lady great things are in store for you. I wish my daughter had your morals and values. Your description of how most people behave is very accurate I think and is the norm for the masses. What a sad state of shallow affairs.

like to party either. guys want to date and if they like you it will grow into something. you can't knock them for that. now how do you feel used on a date???? i hope you aren't having sex with someone on a DATE! You are normal, you just need to find people with your interest. stop calling people your friends. okay.:) friends are people you can count on etc.

i like to go out with my friends but in the same time if i am not in the mood to do it i don't. my point is that its normal to think this. try to find another group of friends that are like you and this helps this really helps. its ok from time to time to go out and just talk and dance and relax....and if a guy is touching your a*s well f**k him.... slap the s**t out a him. we are women not something that the can play with it whenever they want to. we have feelings too.
we are different and yes this is normal.

i think that you exaggerating about date thing
you gonna have to date ...boys .......becuz that way.....you'll get to know them and only after that you'll have a serious relationship
