I know that it defeats the purpose of having these procedures done -with having children in the future but, my mind is made up though - I just want some friendly advice. No my husband is not telling me that I need to get it done - he is extremely supportive and just wants ME to see myself as he sees me. For me now - I dont see what he tells me he sees at all. We are not planning on having children for at least another 4-5 years - I eat healthy and work out - I had previously lost 50lbs and have some extra skin that will not go away - I am still only 20lbs overweight - but again, it really affects the way I feel about myself - anyone in a similar situation with some friendly advice????

I only had the lift/reduction but not the TT. I know others who have had it done.

http://www.breasthealthonline.com... sign up there and check out the BR and TT boards, there are women on there who have had both and can help you a lot better than me.

Edit: Depending on your BR surgery, will affect your breastfeeding. If the nipple isn't removed during surgery you have an excellent chance of breastfeeding. If it was, then its 50/50. http://www.bfar.org will show you more about breastfeeding after reduction.

I'd wait for the TT till after children.

The breast reduction is not an issue, it is the tummy tuck. I've never done any of this myself but have heard that if you are wanting a tummy tuck you should wait until after children. I think you would be prone to having to repeat the procedure because of the weight you will gain from pregnancy or whatever you may go though after each pregnancy.
My strong advice to you would be to conference with your doctor maybe a few doctors and get all the information you can before wasting money.

A few years ago when you had breast reduction you would not be able to a nurse a baby after wards because they cut into your milk glands. I don't know if this is still the case now. I really don't have any other advise for you other then to keep exercising and work you stomach and pect muscles to help with the firming.

Tummy tuck , Breast reduction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
