I sat on the couch reading Charlotte's web. My 2 boys were already asleep and my daughter was in her bed watching Princess and the Pauper. My husband had left at 11:30 to go to a New Year's party. One of my fellow scout leaders called me at midnight to wish me a Happy New year's. After that I went and finished watching the movie with my daughter.

From a Jersey guy here: stayed home with the wife. We finished our real celebrating days about 10 years ago. Been there, done that, you know. We are 50 & 54, w/kids on their own.

I re-did my Easter page on my website; especially the Easter Info for 2007. For Easter 2007 is the seventh of the third day (beyond 2000 AD) and it should prove to be quite interesting.

We went to the country club with our best friends to a private party and enjoyed ourselves from 8am to 2am. got home at 2:15 and stayed up until 3 and then went to bed.

my children were both out and I was home alone in a chat room. I went to bed at 10:30 as usual. pretty boring, huh? but I knew the year would come in with or without me.
