for something a little dif, wear a pastel preppy neck tie as a belt around the waist...

you could make one yourself out of ribbon made of dupioni silk or crosgrain ribbon, like the one here ot buy one from shugarshop.com

you could go for the basics and do a preppy pastel belt or a brown one...

a navy striped tie would look pretty good as well...

to go a little edgy emo preppy like...you could do a black or white spiky belt worn with a black tee under the polo and some skate shoes or black boots...

you can do countless things and go countless ways with what you are describing as an outfit...jazz it up though so you don't end up with a corporate dad look...

if the jeans are light denim than use a white belt. the ones with the double holes would look really good. trust me, i won the school fashion ascessorie award. first place too!

what colour shoes would you be wearing?
always try to match the belt with the colour of your shoes
if you wear white shoes try wearing a thick gold or silver belt ..
if you wear red shoes a red belt
i'd tend to stick to black or brown belt if your shoes are darker coloured.

to spice up ur outfir,try those ''bullet'' metal belts.
or u can go all feminine and try a pearly belt with lace.
dont wear a white belt.
or u stick to a basic black belt with a funky Big buckle!

you can wear them over the polo. you find these everywhere. if you're wearing metallic flats, them this is great. but if you're wearing brown or black boots, or shoes then get the brown or black version.
