When I go to a gothic club, I like to look Gothic. So I use pale face powder, deep crimson lipstick, black eyeliner, whitish eyeshadow, black WP mascara. Applying it is a horror, I need over an hour, every mistake shows. But when I leave for the club, with net stockings and a black rose in my dark red hair, I think I look good (for Gothic standards anyway).
An hour later, when I visit the lady's room in the club, everything is destroyed. The eyeliner on the inner rim of the eyelid is washed away, so you can see the pink behind the lashes. The eyeliner on the eyelid is smeared, mixed with the eyeshadow. The mascara has clumped the eyelashes. The pores on the nose look bigger than before powdering. The lips are the worst. The lipstick is missing from the higher places, but stays in the furrows, so it looks like my lips are bleeding bad.
If you know how to make dark make up last, please help. I can only afford products in the middle price range and no professional treatment.

I have exaclty the same problem. For lipstick I tend to use lipcote - its a liquid that you apply over your lipstick to make it dry and stay. Your ips look fine and stay dark all night but they can feel a little dry. I tend to use a little vaseline over the top. As for eyeliner I tend to do the basic shape with a pencil but then I use liquid eyeliner over the top to define it. Liquid stays very well - you need to WASH it off, wiping won't do a thing. Hope that helps!

Definitely, waterproof liquid eyeliner because a lot of pencil eyeliner always smudges no matter how carefully u put it on. Use moisturiser, then primer, then foundation, then powder to get perfect skin, altho it might be hard if ur naturally darkish and ur going for the white look. Your pores might be showing if your skin is too dry, in which case excessive powder would exacerbate that problem. If the mascara is clumping, use a different mascara! And no more than 3 coats :) As for lips, make sure they're in great condition, use lip liner and lip primer. (Napoleon makes great foundation and lip primer!) After the first coat of lipstick, blot it with paper and then put on liner, then a second layer of lipstick. Also, get a good quality lipstick. Hope this helps!

1. use waterproof eyeliner and mascara.
2. before applying lipstick layer foundation beneath it. then apply one layer of lipstick - dab sum powder on and apply the 2nd layer. tat shud make it last longer and even.
3. use and eye primer..if u dont wanna buy it ..apply a thin layer of foundation before doing the eyemakeup
