Quite a question, my most mystic place was an unnamed spring on the Utah-Nevada border approximately 30 miles north of the intersate. By diving just below the surface you could come up inside a 10 to 15 foot chamber covered with travertine deposits and stalactites. Pushing against the current then diving under again you come up in a second chamber more spectacular than the first.
We were not equipped to explore any further since these caves can become quite trecherous, but it was a spectacular find...

My husband says the Denali Depression in Ethiopia...like Death Valley, desolate, lots of salt outcroppings, appears lifeless....
