If you are of 18 years or more then you can apply for PAN.
Its not necessary to have regular source of income at the time of applying for PAN.

PAN No. is allotted by the Income Tax authorities and the form is processed by NSDL serviced by several service providers as UTI, Post Office, IT Office,Several CA.
Regarding the Allotment of Pan no. It is to be applied in the prescribed application form which can be obtained by the service providers and can also be downloaded from the IT website.
Even the Minors are issued Pan Card, So there is no age restriction. The only documentary evidence required is Ur Identity Proof and Ur address Proof,along with Ur photograph in the prescribed size, (Preferably stamp size) If u have the two u can easily get a pan Card. (The documents which will prove it, is listed in the Application form) It is a very easy.

I don't know for what purpose you applied for and got PAN card. But mere possession of PAN does not mean that you have to pay tax. As long as your annual income does not exceed at least 2 lakhs, you are not liable to be taxed. But if your income exceeds 2 lakhs , whoever you are, you get the honour of becoming a tax paying citizen. Here again you can avoid, note not evade, paying tax if you invest some of your income in admissible deposit accounts. I really appreciate your sense of responsibility of being a true Indian Citizen among many currency swallowing crocodiles in political, business and film fields.

mostly 18 above can have a PAN card
if u r 18 above & want 2 know that how can u have it then go on google search & type that company's name from which u want to have a number & also select the option search in india only
then u can view all the details

No, you have to become 18 yr and you should be an income tax
payer to get a pan card

I do not think, you can get PAN Card. Only Income Tax payers, above the age of 18 are eligible.

if u are above 18 yrs then u can get PAN card.. just get the application from post office or any service or any people who is associated with stock market... application cost is only Rs 65..
fill all the details asked and then post it the income tax dept... thats all.. then within 10days or a week u'll get ur PAN by courier from income tax dept..
but if u are not 18.. u cant get...

u r not above 18yrs old if u want PAN. u apply for it. but sign on the form i.e. 49A u r parent either Father or Monther.
