How lucky can one team get in a season?

I'm hoping more than once! The Jets did it once, I think that they might be able to do it again. Mangini knows how Bellichick works, so hopefully he's got a few playoff tricks up his sleeve and the offense/defense can keep it together.

Nothing would make me happier than to see the Patriots get booted out of the playoffs.

The Jets beat New England at New England in week 10. Since then the Jets have been looking pretty strong, and New England has limped along. Even the loss the Jets took against New England in New York in week 2 I think favors the Jets- NE was up 24-0 and held on to win as the Jets drove 3 times and scored 17 points in 15 minutes.
Seems like people are hyperfocused on the fact that Pennington has a weak throwing arm- obviously he does. A lot of great quarterbacks didn't have an arm- but he's got the head to get the job done. I was a bit concerned when we passed on Linert to get D'brickashaw Fergeson but in the end I think I was wrong. Ever since the Jets picked up 2 good offensive lineman we Pennington has played very well- and the overall offense has been productive. I think defense will decide this game- so long as the Jets don't allow the pats to air out i think it should be a game. home field advantage is going to play a factor.

The Jets vs Pats game will be a bad game. The Jets have an average defense at best and a good offense. The Pats have trouble passing at times and their defense hasnt been playing well. The Jets also beat them already this year so it is possible, but I think its a bad playoff game.

And the Jets are not better than the Broncos, both WC teams should have come from the AFC West.

Game:1 Home Loss 17-24
Game:2 Away - Won 17-14

They have proved that they can compete with then this year. The Jets are hot and are playing great defense. Yes, the have a shot at beating the Patriots.

Positively NOT !
The jets are the most overrated team in the playoffs. Quarterback of Jets can't compar with Brady. The Jets Party is over.

ummmm...abslutely not. peannington vs. brady, and brady has a lot more talent on his side of the football..no offense to the jets, the pats r just better. OH yeah and just bc the dolphins beat the pats doesn't mean much..the dolphins always end up beating them...2 years ago the pats won the SB when they lost to the dolphins, so i really wouldn't consider that a factor

Can they..........Yes..........Are they going to......I doubt it........I'll take Brady over Pennington any day and all the experience is on Brady's side.......Looking at the entire picture the Pat's are a stronger team all around........Brady is one cool customer (reminds me, in that aspect a little of Montana) where I've seen Pennington panic too much........Pennington has the stronger arm but Brady has the stronger mind on the field........I'm in NY and I would love to see the Jets beat them but I'm viewing it from what I think is a realistic standpoint........

No but Kc can run Larry since Indy has the worst rush defense in the NFL.
