I've come across those moments in life before. It all began when I started college and learned philosophy and critical reasoning. A critical mind tries to base everything on fact and reason.

You have to understand that human knowledge is still in its infancy stage and we do not have all the answers, though we sometimes think we do.
Consider this - what are the chances that everything that happened from the big bang to life on earth to the evolution of human beings, will happen again? Don't you think there's some kind of superior intelligence behind it which made everything possible? Science can only sing praises on how incredibly lucky we are to have survived, developed and come this far. Life seems like a perfect fairy tale and though we'd like to think that we are in control of our destiny, I believe we are not. I don't know who is but I believe somebody is. And that "somebody" is the widely accepted concept of a "GOD".
Life is like a software that operates on a set of rules, and every software has a programmer who makes the rules.

The Creator is not a man, but rather an Omnipotent being the likes of which is inconceivable for mankind to imagine. We use the term He, but the Creator has no sex. The Creator created all men and women as spiritual equals. Separation of humans by race is a human thing, for there is no spiritual difference between any of them.

This planet is the proving ground for mankind. Humans can either make the grade or blow it for eternity, and oh yes, there is an spiritual life after our puny number of years on this earth. If there wasn't, there would be no purpose for humankind's existence.

I have thought about the possibility of no Creator, but it is not conceivable that this pile of rocks and the creatures on it just happened to come together without orchestration.

I am not a Creationist. I believe in a purposeful evolution that organised the events that made all this and its continued existence possible.

I do not believe because that is what I was taught. I believe because I searched for many years to find the truth and I have. It is the task for every human to become a seeker and if they are sincere, in the end, they will know.

I believe that there is something highly intelligent behind it all. Yet there may be a chance, that we by eating that apple a while ago, may have gotten out of control. So now we are in a semi controlled 'experiment', giving me the feeling of being cared for and being kept from messing up too big. I believe there are always some 'chosen' ones to remind the others to keep on track. Thus we are and will always be avoiding self extinction.
Cheers

that is god

what we all are, what we all see around us comes from him

we are all imperfect, everyone of us however good we are have flaws, every human to ever have walked the earth, even adam had flaws, we are all pieces of the whole, the whole being god, which is everything, which is a complete entity, perfection is god, we stem from this perfection, therefore the many different kinds of people there are, we all represent different aspects, god being the source, for example: the cash in our pocket, that is only a small amount compared to the source our bank account. is it a perfect man? this perfect man must be god, because on our plane perfection only exists in His creations not ours, can he be called man? perhaps, but he is one of a kind in his perfection, so can he literaly be part of the human race? (sorry for ending with a ? mark)

I lost everything I thought I was in this world, and got to the point were I wanted the truth about God, direct knowledge, even if it killed me. After that the Holy Spirit (what I choose to call it) began to teach me. I also suffer inflammation of all my body systems, and have had static convulsions from pain. So the suffering was a blessing in bringing me close to God. Nothing is separate from God's substance, so He's not absent from you ever. I call God She sometimes, too. Fear of death, I think, is the real issue we have with God. There is no death, although it seems to reign in this shadow world.

How can there be anyone or anything actually "controlling" this world? Why would some people be rich, others poor, sick and other healthy? Is that some kind of JOKE this "god" is playing on us? Or does "he" just pick and choose "his" favorites? WE control our own lives by our thoughts and actions. There is nothing "out there".

sure and no. Christians do have self assurance that guy became made in God's image, yet God is a Spirit. guy has a spirit. It does no longer propose that Christians think of that God has actual useful factors. have you ever even study the Bible?

once upon a time most believed that the world was flat, just because they all believed it. Did not make it so.
God is a joke, and jesus the punch line. Just because you believe in something does not make it true. You can believe all you want, but don't ask me why I don't,because you wouldn't believe it anyway. I know there is no god because the Easter Bunny told me so.HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!........
