I listen to bands such as arch enemy, children of bodom, metallica and nevermore. I've been practicing for 3 months now and I wonder what song I should practice.

bands like that are all "power chords" so you shoud just practice them on their own go to www.ultimate-guitar.com and look up the lessons section. The first song i learned on the guitar was every breath you take- police i found it beneficial because the chords in that one song are in so many others

Practice whatever moves you... whatever you can't get out of your head. That's what I did when I first started with the guitar... it took time, but it paid off. We have to play what is in us.... playing for anyone else just doesn't work.
