Is it possible to rename tracks on iTunes? Change the song name, artist etc?
A friend burned me a CD of his own music and I don't want them to appear as just 'Track 01' etc.

You should do the following:
1. Highlight the song that you want to change the name of it.
2. Move your cursor to the top left corner of the iTunes window.
3. Choose 'file', then 'get info.'
4. Delete Track 1, which would be in the option 'NAME'
5. Make up your own name
6. Click save
7. There, you have you song's name changed.
8. Good luck and have a happy new year.

Yes you can change the name of the track. Press on the subtitle "Track 1" twice. When you do that the subtitle will get highlighted in dark blue. Press delete and the subtitle "Track 1" will get deleted. Once that is done you can rename the track.

Highlight the track, go to File on the toolbar, then Get Info and select the Info tab and you can enter any details you want.

i think i you right clik the song and click on show song file and go in there and rename it then add it to i tunes as the new name and deleate the one saying track 1 ect.
