Personally, I didn't have a such ''very great'' time, not that it wasn't fun, but it wasn't so ''spectacular''.

1. First we cooked for ourselves. Warm and dessert.
2. Then we made snacks.
3. Then it was 0.00pm, we celebrated the new year.
4. We watched the fireworks, we were sitting on my balcony, it was freezing!
5. Then, we got all sleepy. My brother fell asleep.
6. My sister and I CARRIED the boy to the sofa.
7. Then, I don't know why, we went downstairs to say hello and happy new year to my neigbours.
8. And the ''best of all'', my neighbour's kid lost a finger or something because of holding the firework too long, we immediately ran for the telephone.
9. After that, I couldn't even think of food.
10. Last but not least, my sister and I were staying up untill 7.00 am, we just couldn't sleep.

Thanks a lot for thinking of my neighbour's kid, I'll say it to him. By the way, Happy New Year too.

My partner and I went to a ball at City Hall, King George Square in Brisbane. It was very nice and something different for a New Years Eve for me. It was really great to see my partner in a tuxedo. He looked so hot! I actually wore a ball gown and it was weird since I never wear dresses.

Your New Years was eventful. I hope your neighbours kid is ok. I wish you and your family many happy returns for 2007.

Omg! Well, I hope the rest of the week turns out better for you.
We did the family thing - cook, games, movies and laugh. I gave my cat some New Years Holiday treats, she liked that. lol I fell asleep early way before midnight, was having to much fun I guess. Will probably continue today for a bit.

I spent New Year at home with my family. We made a special dinner; gathered around the table and prayed a prayer of thanksgiving and blessing. Then we ate ate ate... while we watched the countdown in New York for the New Year Ball to fall...greeted one another Happy New Year... hugs and kisses... jokes and laughter... called relatives... played games on computer... bed for some... up all night for others... why not? tomorrow is a holiday...

So sad about your neighbor's kid...

I overcame my addiction with computer games. I deleted all my games, did some chores, refused to party and went to sleep early. I think we often spend our new year's eve wishing for a better year rather than doing something to make that better year come true.

This is the first time I did something like that during new year's eve and I had the most immense satisfaction from it.
