I agree. Bush II lied about Iraq and when he realized that he could keep going with his WMD or Saddam supporting terrorists claims he chaged the war to 'operation Iraqi freedom' to make it seem like the U.S. should get a bad dictator out of office. Well, what about the Darfar conflict, and other African human right violations? It is obivous Bush does not seem to care about them or care about getting evil dictators out of office. It is clear Bush is a lier and has ruined the U.S. economy, tried to impose his religious beliefs on the country, and has tried to take away state's rights (trying to ban states from alloing gay marraige), which the founding fathers would have NEVER wanted.

The Bush crime family is the most dangerous the world has ever encountered. Stalin and Hitler were individuals carrying out their terror. The bushs are an entire family, controlling Texas, Florida, the national government. Read Webster Tarpley's "Unauthorized Biography" of the Bushs and you go out behind the woodshed and spank yourself for voting for any of these crooks.

The older I get the more I realize it's all about money, every last decision, the bottom line, money. With that said, who is gaining in Iraq? The Iraqi people? The United States as a country? You, me? The only people benefiting from the war in Iraq are the people making money off of this war, that's the bottom line, as it always is and will continue to be so for as long as the republicans hold power or are able to negate the democrats. They would rather spend billions on war, than on the good of America. You can't make money helping the citizens of this country. Our government is failing us, plain and simple.

Nothing is more common in ideologically driven politics than the triumph of conviction over evidence and reason. I have no reason to doubt that the Washington war party, in the grip of ideological self-intoxication, had come sincerely to believe in the seriousness of the supposed Iraqi threat. Within weeks of September 11 they had convinced the President; within months they had convinced the governments of Britain and Australia.
Liars - yes. Delusional - yes. But they believe their own propaganda, that's the propblem.
And as with any politics driven by fundamentalist belief systems Christian or Muslim - they are supported by the ostriches who like simplistic answers to complex questions.
Now that's the REAL worry.

I disagree.
When a president has to break down the semantics of the word "is" to save his sorry, lying a** like Clinton did; I think that his supporters must have had Thorazine implants to continue to go along with him.

Disagree.
All politicians are liars.
And I am most definitely not delusional. I'm just as ignorant as anyone else on here, though.
