can you run trend micro antivirus and webroot spy sweeper programs at the same time without any problems , I been running them separate and each one take about 50 minutes , so to save time can I run them both at the same time...I would like some real answers and a few funny ones

Yes, you can. The time to do it is at night when you aren't using the computer. Both of them offer scheduling. Just go into the program and set the times. If, however, you are going to run them at night, why not separately?

I had both and had no problem. If they both check your system at the same time they may run kinda slow though depending on your system. I had mine set to auto and they would sweep at different times so they probably overlapped at times and I never had a problem. I went to windows live now and like that. I find that web root really slows things down at times.

Yeah, but it may take 3 or 4 times longer in total to finish both scans.

Yes you can run them both at the same time as log as yo have enough memory in your computer.

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.
besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.
