We all try to choose something that resembles us as closely as possible.
But the YAvatars are so limited, that we cant really get what we would like to ==== so we make do with the existing ones .
& the ones who are too choosy , go without an avatar , rather than have a mismatched one.

If i did I'd be a happy lady! Some of them are quite scary. I think that we choose our avatar as a representation of who we are or what interests us! Happy New Year to you too!

No because I read the profiles and they obviously don't match up but that's okay.
I do resemble my avatar a lot even down to the little dog that looks exactly like mine.

Well for me, I am not Bam Margera. I just think he's very sexy.
But My avatar is maybe only 10% of the real me. I have long brown naturally curly hair and i have brown eyes.

no. some people cant get their avatar to look anything like them and some use "cute" avatars. the best ones are actual photos.

Can't speak for everyone but i know this girl who uses this cute, skinny little avatar when in fact in real life she weighs nearly 325lbs and looks nothing like the pic.
