SYDNEY: Paris Hilton may be the poster girl for marathon shopping sprees, but the hotel heiress seemed to have somehow misplaced her gold cards in Sydney, where she left a cafe without paying her bill.
The staff at Sloanes Cafe in the trendy Paddington shopping district were left scratching their heads when Hilton walked out without paying a $7.70 drinks tab, the Sydney Morning Herald reported on Monday.
"She's got bucketloads of money and she didn't pay for her drinks," waitress Jo Pfahl said.

If it was my restaurent, I'd sue her for the money. Even if it was only a few dollars. The rich should still pay their bills.

Paris lives on a different planet to the rest of us.. she feels that because of her star power, that her mere presence is payment enough.. and thus she is known to regulalrly rack up small bills in lots of places.. and not ever pay any of them.. how sad!!
This is a woman who can be bought for a high enough price.. and yet.. is not prepared to actually pay for the little things.. I bet a tip was out of the question too.. I guess she figures the waiter should feel honored to have served Paris Hilton..

Wow. She IS crazy.
Why did she become a celebrity anyway? What did she do to get famous? All she does is break the law, be rude to people, and simply be rebellious......then, gets paid (and praised) for doing those stuff.

who cares??? i dont like her anyway. besides, im much prettier and sexier than her. ahem. "that's the spirit!" LoL. and yet, rich in my own ways, ofcourse, but not "served on silver trays every morning" and i don't "fire up a jet" to go down the street. and although i do live in the hollywood hills and have a housekeeper a few times a week, "i do everything myself," including doing laundry and PAYING BILLS even if its a $7.70 drink.

Sometimes celebs think so much of themselves that it sadly goes to their head. She may have forgotten as most people reconize her as Hollywoods "dumb blonde". Then again, in recent magazine articles in Seventeen, she says she pretends to be a dumb blonde because she says its fun. But, she could have also been thinking she would get away with it so she could put her money towards more "useful" expenses like a new shows-too-much outfit.

She was probably bombed and forgot to pay it. Paris is a booze hound so this isn't surprising at all. She also peed all over in someone's cab. Also in Las Vegas she got drunk, went on stage to lip-synch a song and puked.

I am not taking sides but this incident is yet to be reported in full.
Did she promise to send the money or pay it later?
Only if she does not pay afterwords, she is at fault. Ofcourse, whether she could just walk out of the place without getting sued is the owner's prerogative.
We should not really pay attention to these trivial incidents. So called celebrities always have a penchant for remaining in spotlight by hook or by crook, without which they really are uncomfortable.
The very fact that you have wasted your time and energy after this made it successful, if the incident was intentional.
