Is it blocking all of yahoo or more specifically yahoo mail? Considering you asked this question in Answers I'll assume that you're referring to Yahoo mail. If so then you need to shut off Norton's spam filters. See your version's documents for exact details.

Or as previously suggested, Norton might be restricting your yahoo access with an IP address rule. It will need to be removed. I'd search Symantec site(link below). They are good with support from my experiences.

My $.02! I've used Norton in the past an have had issues with it from time to time. For the most part its done whats been advertised but.....

Its is a CPU hog. I have read that they are going to address this with the 2007 but we'll see. One other PIA problem was it locking out apps like Firefox and Thunderbird after updating. Once, it hung when trying to remove program rules and had to restart, over and over and over. Actually put in a ticket with user support to fix. Lastly, they only give you protection for 1 year before they demand money. $$$$

There are other products that will do the same and some due it even better. Others are free like Zonealarm's firewall, AVG anti-virus, and countless malware scanners like ad-aware, spybot, webroot, ..... Might be worth a search or 2. Caveat, there are "free" security products are are actully malware themselves. They'll remove the others to replace it with their own so be careful what you install. Investigate before you install. Good luck!
