All I can remember when it woke me, was a rectangle clear acrylic box fixed up with pea gravel and a climbing limb, with a big snake in it. A few large rats, and a bunch of mice were running around in it. Then I see a bunch of kittens standing in a corner watching the mice. One bold kitten decides to play with a mouse, and eventually was walking close by the snake swiping his front paw around teasing the baby mouse. Then he caught the mouse and had it in his mouth, and at that moment the snake rose up and bit the kittens head. It was flopping around and the snake just sat steady with the kitten in his mouth until it went limp..then I woke and freaked on why in the heck I dreamed that?????

All dreams are in metaphor, and represent issues that are happening your current life, offering you an insight or solution to a problem. Recurrent dreams reflect an unresolved (unfinished) issue in your life. Notice when you have the dream and see what happened that day BEFORE you had the dream. Your emotional state and your interactions of the day are the keys to meaning(s).
Your chosen symbols have meaning to YOU, not something you can look up in a dream dictionary.
Write down what each of the elements in the dream makes you think of. These associations and your emotional reactions IN THE DREAM will help you figure out what the dream relates to right now in your waking life.
I'm hearing that something that looks playful could turn into something dangerous and deady. Does that ring a bell?
Remember: you are the final authority on the meaning(s) of your dreams.

Maybe the cat saw the baby mouse as a pawn it could push around and do with as he wished and the cat seen himself as the king in his own little interpretation of the world. The snake however taught the cat that the world is bigger then just one little game of cat and mouse and that one individual’s king is another individual’s pawn.
If you have these characters represent specific issues the cat was dealing with it would show that the cat was preoccupied with a little issue that would not really affect the cat’s current situation. And while the cat was dealing with smaller issue it did not see the bigger issue that was right out in the open.
Id say maybe you should take a step back and look at what is going on in your life and see if maybe you are spending to much time on little issues when there could be a bigger issue you need to deal with first.

Just a thought.
Possibly you or someone else (being the kitten) are in a place (not your home, the snakes cage) and you are tempted (to go after mice and rats) to indulged yourself into a few things that are very appealing (probably somethings you can even give very good excuses to pursue such as "A kitten has to eat or he will die".), but without question it is a trap to keep your eyes on one thing (the mouse) while something else (the snake) has dangerous plans for you.
I would be grateful for such a warning, it is a good thing. I wouldn't let it scare you.
This may be for you, or it may be for you to warn someone else. You will know when the time comes.

From an Eastern book on dreams:
' A snake symbolises a person's arch enemy. The greater the snake, the greater the enemy.'
' A cat symbolises a thief'
'Killing a cat means means that a person will overpower his enemy'
'A mouse represents an evil and wicked woman'
'killing a mouse means he will come into contact with an evil and sinful woman.'
Hope that helps somehow.

You related more to the kitten, and could see a danger it didn't.
The kitty was focused on its own pleasure and forgot the other things around it.
Advice: keep alert

Big snake? Obviously, you're a sexual misfit with highly repressed sexual impulses. The question is this: When will you decide to free yourself of sociatal pressures and finally give in to your desire and lust for sex with animals?
Of course, that's just my interpretation.
