Being tall has a lot of advantages and you probably won't learn to appreciate them fully until your older.
I think you have a better deal going for you than the average kid your age.
My son is going to be like you. He is very tall for his age and often mistaken for being older than what he really is. My husband is also very tall and did get picked on as a result of it when he was younger in school. However is the envy of a lot of guys now. The woman find this a very attractive feature in a grown man. There are more positives than this. You'll rarely ever be out of reach for anything. There a bigger things to worry about. Be glad your in good health!!

>>>* Hey What's up Man, my friends call me Skippy. I know RIGHT where you are now, as I was once there, and I can tell you first hand that it is ABSOLUTELY possible to grow in height after you thought you were done growing forever. Perhaps my own story could be of some help to you...

My family has been in the aviation business since the 1960's. There has been pilots, engineers, baggers, stewards, and of course stewardesses. I never really had much of an interest in piloting or working as an engineer, but I LOVE the sky, and being on airplanes. I had already traveled to 12 different countries by the age of 21. So for me, being a Steward(flight attendant) was always my dream job. The only problem, however, is that there are height requirements for safety reasons. As I was exceptionally short in height- my college degree, and qualified resume meant nothing. I was denied my first job as a flight attendant because I was about 2 inches short of their requirements. This absolutely devastated me. I thought my dream had gone out the window. I was also embarrassed, it was sort of like not being able to get on a ride at an amusement park because I was too small. Which has actually happened to me, btw. Lol. But this was worse, this was my dream career, and future at stake.

At this point, I began scowering the web for help. First I tried seeing if there was a way, some way, to get around the height requirement mandated by airliners. The answer was a big fat NO. Once I had determined there was no way around it, I started feeling hopeless, and desperate. THAT'S when I started looking into the seemingly ridiculous idea that you could continue growing, even after you were finished with puberty. So, after hours and hours of research, reading countless reviews and testimonials, I did come across one website - http://www.growtall.pcti-system.com .. A natural height-growth program that caught my eye. Setting my inherent skepticism aside for a moment, I signed up for the site. Now, fast forward a few months after learning and utilizing all the material and support in the program, I actually grew 3 INCHES! That's no lie. Dead serious. I have since re-applied for the job I would have otherwise gotten if I had met the height requirement. They don't even believe me, lol! They have not set me up for another interview, but that's Ok. If not them, I will have my dream job soon with another airliner as this time I won't have to worry about coming up short. No pun intended! lol.

Anyways, I hope my story was of some help to you, and I wish you the best!

Try not to worry about your height. I am telling you that everyone out there dislikes something about themselves and has something that makes them stick out at one time or another. You will be just fine. Unfortunately, there isn't anything out there that you can do to make yourself stop growing. You should stop growing around 16-18. A tall man is very attractive so learn to be proud of the gift that you have. Good luck.

You'll just have to deal with it. I have twins that were 6 ft 2 at your age and topped out at 6 foot 4. They were very self concious because they were so shy. They always stood out no matter where we went, women in grocery stores would ask them to reach things on high shelves for them, people always wanted to know if they played basketball-they didn't-etc. On the other hand, no one messed with them. I used to walk with one of them on each side of me, called them my bodyguards. They were so much like you in not wanting to grow any taller. Once they were in the higher grades in high school they came to like being so tall. I think you will too. (By the way, I'm 5 ft. 4 and they call me "little mommy" to this day)

Learn to deal with it. Being tall is sometimes a good thing. Many girls see it as an attractive trait so don't be upset this could be a gift a few years down the road.

I actually used the program that "Skippy" person speaks of. It really does work. That same website, http://www.growtall.pcti-system.com .. I played basketball in college, and I used that to gain a couple in height. A total of 2.5 inches. After that, it seemed to plateau though. I could not gain any more than 2 1/2, no matter how hard I tried. But those inches really gave me an advantage in my games. Well worth it.

You should learn to deal with it. I know alot of teens who are like, 4 foot 9 and would love to swicth places with you anyway, eventually you'll stop growing and your friends will catch up.
