Being too proud to admit my feelings and letting the only girl I really ever felt love for slip quietly out of my life. She had told me that she loved me but even though I felt the same about her I went on as if I didn't feel anything. I could almost shoot myself over it.

Hmmm, maybe the same thing has happened to you that I did to her?

The biggest mistake I did in my life?! lol... ( i can laugh at it now) I took a lady out on a blind date and we had a pretty good time. Over the next few months, we started getting pretty serious & even spoke of marriage... One night we had a few (too many) drinks & got fairly well hammered. We were at her house, and soon we went to bed & started fooling around. Well... I had to go get rid of some of that beer, & I somehow got turned around while on my way to the restroom, & i wound up at the side of the bed...I thought I had made it into the jon, so I did what you do in the bathroom... I'm pretty sure it was the screaming that got my attention, as I was peeing all over her...So I guess the answer to your question is, Biggest mistake for me was not reaching down to lift the seat, cuz if I had, i wouldn't have found it there.... So let this be a lesson to all men: lift the seat before you pee!!

I even cannot count them. To me now the biggest was not paying attention to my wife's (now ex) agony and feel of rejection the last 4 years of a 30 year relation (my feeling was the opposite, that she neglected me). The mistake was mutual I believe, and we never addressed it the right way. Eventually she just divorced me.

My biggest mistake was to get married and I dont think that divorce is going to automatically "nulify" all the consequences of the mistake, unfortunatelly. I just have to live with having been so stupid.

Not trusting myself. That's the biggest mistake.

Read this book, "Is He Mr Right?" by Mira Kirshenbaum - its for guys too and will help you get over this little problem you have.

Loving too deeply and blindly. Believing that the feelings were mutual.
