can i have a zigzagoon on my fire red and a rattatta on my emerald?or a wurple on my fire red and a caterpie on my emerald?
will all the new pokemon from emerald like zigzagoon, can be traded for an old pokemon from fire red like zapdos or rattatta?i'm asking these questions because im trying to decide what version will I buy?another emerald/sapphire/ruby or fire red/leaf green.

every single pokemon in the game (#1 through #386) can be in any of the five gameboy advance games (fire, leaf, ruby, sapphire, emerald)
if you already have ruby or sapphire, but don't have either leaf or fire, dude, just get fire or leaf

ok pal, listen carefully, this games ( Ruby,Sapphire,Firered,Leafgreen,Emerald) can all trade with each other
Pokemon Red,Blue,Yellow,Green(jap version)Gold,Silver,Crystal can trade with each other but the five games that i listed above,Ruby,Sapphire and the rest can't trade with Pokemon red,blue yellow green and the rest listed here
btw, i have completed the kanto pokedex, my hoenn is missing a zangoose since i didn't buy a Ruby,and my johto is only missing Lugia,Ho-Oh and Celebi,Kingdra(since i can't seem to get my hands on a Dragon Scale)
