I'm trying to comprehend why my BF and I are paying fines ,bonds,& lawyers for what has been considered a judicial mishap.
I had more respect for the system up until a week ago . We can't do anything, our hands are tied. He tried to get the teletype info containing true confirmation for the warrant that was executed upon him.
Upon my own research, I find that he was charged w/ felony evading arrest detention 7/23/05.The DA dropped/declined charges that same month due to insufficient evidence to indict. However warrant was not cleared from the system forcing the arrest.
It is my belief that there was never a true confirmation made and he was falsely arrested on a charge dropped over a year ago.
What can I do? How can I retrieve this information that is legally his as well? He has no past criminal record. Unfortunately due to this clerical error his job w/ a defense company he's currently employed with is on the line. Why won't the courts just drop and dismiss it from his record?
