We liberated Iraq because Saddam was an evil dictator who murdered over a million of his own people, and was also sending terrorists all around the world to murder innocent people. When you say Saddam only killed 148 people you are lying and you know it. 148 is how many he was convicted of killing in a trial that only dealt with the murder of 148 specific people. If Saddam would not have been executed by the Iraqi people for murdering 148 of them, Saddam would have been tried and convicted for the murder of hundreds of thousands more. There was no purpose in delaying the execution just so you would have a bigger number to whine about when you slander America.
The UN authorized military action against Saddam, and then when the US did it the corrupt Kofe Annan started complaining because Kofe and his friends, even Kofe's son Kojo, were getting rich from bribes Saddam was paying them.
If your family had been among the 148 murder victims you mention how would you feel about Saddam being executed. As for whether there will be peace in Iraq, if muslims stop murdering other muslims there will be peace.
Stop lying...

148 is a gross underestimate. He was convicted of killing 148, he directly and indirectly ordered the killings of many, many more than that including the Iranians he illegally killed in combat with nerve gas. Plus I doubt the US has killed thousands of INNOCENTS. Maybe a few hundred indirectly from bombing terror targets, but we never bombed innocent people without having a greater intended. Where they get the figures in the thousands is from all the violent deaths in Iraq since the US invasion, most had no US involvement at all, and many would have occurred whether or not the US invaded.
What I don't get is how people say Bush is evil for a few thousand dying from terrorist violence that Bush had very little to do with, yet FDR is a hero for deliberately bombing and killing 300,000 civilians.
All in all, Saddam was a lunatic who praised Hitler and followed his tactics, and was a reader and fan of his autobiography "Mein Kompf". Even the chance that he STILL(yes he did have them) had WMDs, was justifiable for an invasion.

Who will answer about the right of one nation to attack or give judgment on behalf of other nation!!!!
So George and company will decide attacking countries like this? despite UN did not approve their act?????????
Hey numb nuts, the UN, who's approval you apparently feel is necessary before a country can act against the bad guys, has been sitting around for years as innocent people on numerous continents have been abused and murdered by dictators and tribal strongmen.
You are worthless and UN diplomacy is worthless and obsolete in many instances because diplomacy only works among civilized people. When you are dealing with a primitive mindset sometimes you have just got to KICK A LITTLE ACE to get the message across!

Saddam was cinvicted for killing a 148 but in reality killed many thousands more..! Many Americans,in fact most Americans do not support the war in Iraq.. It is indeed tragic whats taken place in Iraq and to be honest I doubt Bush will stand trial !
I think the biggest tragedy in Iraq is that most of the killing is not by American troops but by Foreign Arab and MUSLIM fighters who use Iraq and its people as pawns againts the Americans!

he was tried and convicted for the 148 deaths. There will be more trials showing the hundreds of thousands of Kurds and other Iraqi's. This not even including the thousands of he killed when he invaded other countries to take them over in 1991. Why don't you vent your anger at the bomb strapping people in Iraq ? It is pretty curious that you seem to let that killing go unnoticed. If it wasn't for that type of killing going on in Iraq today, the U.S. could go back home.

You guys keep talking about all the innocent people we have killed in Iraq. I'm not going to say that there haven't been. However, the Militias, insurgents and terrorists have done a much more proficient job at killing innocent people than we have.
How many times have Americans killed people, burned them, and hung them from a bridge?
How many times has the US beheaded people on video for the world to see?
How many times have the Americans killed people by drilling holes in their joints and in their temples?
How many times have the Americans summarily executed a person after beating him nearly senseless and leaving his body on the side of the road for children to find?
Iraqis have done THIS to each other.
Maybe you should be pointing in the direction of the Iraqi government who is sanctioning ethnic cleansing of Sunnis by Shiites.

Addicts will steal, rob, rape and pillage to satisfy their addiction. Admitedly, the US is addicted to oil. George boy's words. And there is oil in Iraq and Iran so we went after its control. Plain and simple as the day is long. And those who think otherwise are naive. We will be in Iraq till my grandchildren will have grandchildren. Controlled chaos is what they were after to have a reason for staying. And this is what we got.Chaos. Which should have been obvious to anyone who had rudimentary knowledge of the Middle East. Sunni and Shi'tes need a few centuries to iron out their differences like the Catholics and Protestants did. Our presence in Iraq is superficial. There is nothing we can do to quell the animosity between these fractions. There is no "winning" in Iraq folks. Have no illusions.

George Bush and his administration killed thousands. Not the American people. As a whole our country does not support this war. We support our soldiers as we always will but not the situation we were put into by our President who wasn't even elected by popular vote.
