What are good ways to get rid of someone on the phone with out being rude. ( this is ont the phone with customers not coworkers.)

For example

I just repeat the same thing, same exact words, until they get the message and hang up.

"Yes, thank you, Mr Smith, that is correct. Yes, thank you, Mr Smith, that is correct. Yes, thank you, Mr Smith, that is correct. Well, I'll let you go now. Yes, thank you, Mr Smith, that is correct...."

Put them on fake holds a lot (like the other lines are ringing constantly)
