Bush may be technically the leader of the USA and therefore the US people. But all his actions subsequent to his election to the White House are not popular actions. The vast majority of US citizens condemn his action in Iraq from day one. Already more than 3000 US soldiers are reported to have died in Iraq.
Killing of Saddam Hussein under a pretext of criminal charges and judicial trial might have satisfied the sadistic appetite of George Bush but certainly not the Americans who stand for amity and peace in the world. There may be few unenlightened among them who might have false notions of US supremacy in international politics.

Sad to see that so many Americans are misinformed and disinformed. AL Qaeda was NEVER in Iraq. Now it is because of the war. And beyond that its numbers have exponentially increased because of the Iraq invasion. Muslims are patient people. Watch out because the next 9/11 will have millions of victims thanks to the arrogance and ignorance and incompetence of the Bushies. It is sad because most Americans do NOT support the Iraq war. The only thing that they are quilty of is unsurpassed naivette'.

Well...Bush does seem to project a cowboy from the 'ol West...a hanging would have been how he would have settled the death of an enemy. In this day and time, we just have to hear his defensive whines, of how he is the authority on right and wrong.

No, it isnt. i think it would be correct to say Saddam Hussein's death was a result of a tryrant ruling in a country where ethnic cleasing of the kurds was attempted in 1982, and George Bush was the victim of a carefully orchestrated power grab, by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid fully utilizing public opinion and very thinly veiled as an attempt to respond to public opinoni of a very unpopular but also very necessary war against al qaeda to keep them from our shores. Unfortunately for most americans if Clinton had done his job in 92 when Bin Laden was in Sudan, its very debateable whether or this discussion would have even been necessary.

No, but it would be fare to say that the Iraqis better start respecting each other, and flush out the terrorist before we get tired of their game.
