So far i just sed id give him some time for himself. i really dont no what i can do to help out because he seems to be reluctant for my sympathy

when someone you love dies it is a very hard thing..there really is nothing that you can say to make it OK.... Just be there for him and be aware of his feelings...if he wants to laugh than joke around..if not than maybe sit there quietly and hold his hand..i he wants to be alone let him be alone but call him once in a while

People often tend to prefer to be alone with their grief, and as the days and weeks wear on they more and more return to a version of a little more normal.

Just offer to be there if he needs to talk about something that will get his mind off things or if he wants to talk about the loss; and other than that, you can't do much. He knows people who know him wish they could make him feel better; but we all know there isn't much anyone can do to make a grieving person feel better.

give him the space that he need its very hard on him but be there when he needs you and do keep checking up on him so he still knows that you care.
