Saddams execution was wrong - period. No one has the right to end the life of one that was created by GOD. I did not agree with what he did and i feel for the families of the victims, however, is it right to sing and celebrate because you killed someone who killed someone. Seems to me that the murdering a murderer is just as bad.

It should not have been done on this day. It was a planned insult to the Sunnis, as their Eid had begun. The Shia Eid began the next day. The coalition forces should not have turned him over to them till this week.
See two newspaper articles that I have kept:
In his final moments, shortly after the dawn call to prayer, Hussein, a Sunni Arab, came face to face with today's Iraq, which he had never met, having spent the past three years in U.S. custody. from the
Washington Post
> Mr Agha said Saddam's execution on the first day
> of Eid Al Adha was befitting because in the 1980s
> the Baath regime would deliver the bodies of
> prisoners they had killed to their families on this
> day. from the
Gulf Daily News
It was done deliberately to insult the Sunnis.

life is not fair. it is not fair for those who died in the sinking of the ferry right before new years. you cannot choose the day you die, unless you kill yourself. i don't think saddam cared if it was eid al adha or new year. right now he is with his sons and grandchild. it is better than staying in prison for years and years and eventually dying anyway of something else. depends how you look at it...... his execution could be seen as bloody murder but one can see it as merciful since he was ready since he had nothing else to live for except being locked up. death is not always a bad thing when living is worse.

No it's not fair....the execution I feel has been carefully planned to coincide with Eid-Ul-Alha and before the New Year....although there was a 30 day period from the day of the judgement...I still think that a big power is behind this...Good question though...

it truly is an basic one. If the global receives too warm, we've shown that we are able to live to tell the tale it because the "Cradles of Civilization" were in warm, dry parts. If the global receives chilly, then we've already shown that we are able to upward thrust up to ice a lengthy time period, and that is with none "extreme" technologies. If the global receives overpopulated, this is going to, out of necessity, stability itself out. i don't believe of we favor to agonize about surviving the subsequent one hundred years. the real question is a thanks to we keep the subsequent one hundred years from growing to be the subsequent darkish Age.

Does it make a difference when he was executed? He was a tyrant, he had it coming.
