I don't think Rush Limbaugh ever made such a statement. If so, you should offer the context since he often uses parody and I'd like to see if that's what he's doing here.
Nevertheless, a quote from more than 10 years ago hardly warrants any discussion.
I listen to Rush all the time, and this statement does not characterize his views on liberalism or liberals. His current view, which he expresses repeatedly, is that he encourages liberals to speak out and show the world who and what they really are.
Liberals these days are apparently incapable of rational discussion, and that's sad because that's not a reflection of liberalism, it's a reflection of anger on the liberal side. The anger will go away eventually, but I hope we don't have to endure it until current liberals are all dead. Some of them will be around a long time.
(I'd like to know when liberals will go back to what they traditionally stand for: civil rights and equal rights, peaceful anti-war demonstration, global community, diversity, etc. For some time now, liberals have gone off the deep end on abortion, assisted suicide, global warming, excessive taxation, and anti-Americanism.)

it truly is a challenge for many of the political information happening obtainable today. human beings do not truth verify... a short search for by the quest engine and inspite of result comes up... each person can edit wikipedia... this is not a strong source... this is not a foul position to commence yet then you truthfully ought to envision references... Even Glenn Beck admitted to not truth checking considering his application is editorial is nature and in no way journalism or information. all of us keeps speaking about ingesting the kool-help on both aspect; it would want to help if all of us truth checked which does take some attempt sure and in no way only a short and dirty search for engine study. It also does not damage if we did not count number on editorialism for information because they let us know what we favor to hearken to. bypass get the info and then make some suggested judgements.

Actually I consider myself a Democrat, Rush uses the word liberal as a slur. Rush would not even make a good pimple on a comedians butt, and he is not to be taken seriously as he only seems to be a sit down comedian. I do not keep up with the guy, just hear about him getting caught with Viagra at the airport, I didn't really think Viagra helped guys with Complexity Decision Problems.

It is an accusation of liberalism and I believe he should be strung up by his toes for it. (said so as not to appear liberal) Maybe then I could steal his pain medication and hand it out to the need......I mean steal it for my own purposes, sell it, and then use the money to buy food for the homeles......I mean buy stocks. Just call me Mr.Conservative.
