generally shipped in large crates in the form of huge rolls. its hell on space based payments for transport. some larger manufacturers can actually make the stuff using plastic material shipped in more compact form.

Show Ebay the proof of delivery. it's not your fault he was not home to collect the package and you don't pay to get an item from USPS unless there is postage due
