My wife is 7 years older than I am. She's a very well educated woman, serving in a very high government position. Me on the otherhand I'm a retired veteran of the military.

We have a successful relationship, have not had many disagreements over the years. When she travels on her job i often go with her if i've not been to the city she is traveling to.

She makes 5 times the income my pension pays and she owns the house we live in. She drives new cars every year, I drive my old beatup pickup.

We basically live separate lives, and i think the only reason i'm in this relationship is to take care of the house, yard, and do the maintenance. Im just a convienence. We haven't had sex in 5 years. But we do kiss and hug twice a day. once as she's off to work, and at night when she goes to bed. We even have separate bedrooms.

I'm starting to tire of this relationship, as i think i'm not getting anything out of it personally

Age really doesnt matter. It's when you have the same passions and goals that everything about the other seems wonderful. He is 13 years older than me and i love the ways he's -old- and he loves everything about me. He has this KNOWING maturity of what's better and we always argue, but a week later lol it mostly turns out he was right.

you know age doesn't matter in a relationship. As long as you love each other and the two of you doesn't have any commitments outside the relationship (having a husband or wife) then go for it. nourish the relationship with love caring and understanding. Stay in love its your best move. God bless you
